We believe every household in our area should have access to a good quality and affordable home that meets their needs.
We manage the Council's housing stock, including meeting demand for accommodation from homeless people.
Beyond simply taking care of Council housing, we also invest heavily in programmes to upgrade council homes, including the kitchen renewal initiative for all council homes and a door replacement scheme.
Increasingly our role is being expanded to include work with private sector homes, but we continue to work closely with tenants who are actively involved in many of the decisions the Service takes.
