We can help you think through your accommodation options whether you want to stay on or off campus. There are around 1,600 rooms on the Edinburgh Campus and 200 on the Borders Campus.
Priority is usually given to students arriving for the first time in first year or as a postgraduate. We operate a leased flat scheme on both campuses which can give you access to flats in the private rented sector. We can also provide advice about how to access lodgings with families or private accommodation.
The University welcomes applications from students with disabilities and special needs. A number of rooms on the Edinburgh Campus have been purpose built and are fully accessible. A number of bedrooms at the Borders Campus have been adapted for wheelchair users. If you have a special need in respect of accommodation, please contact the Disability Adviser (Edinburgh Campus) or the Student Welfare Officer (Scottish Borders Campus).
Online accommodation booking for student accommodation at our Edinburgh campus commences on 26 May 2008.
Our Catering and Residences Service offer all sorts of nourishing dishes and snacks to sustain your busy life on-campus.
