Edinburgh’s Hogmanay is the largest New Year event in the world and its celebrations are world renown. The four day festival features a comprehensive programme of festive activities for all the family.

Join the warm embrace of the Torchlight Procession as it flickers through the city radiating light and magic.  Europe’s leading street theatre companies appear at the ‘Night Afore International’ on the day before Hogmanay (New Year’s Eve).

Dance beneath the stars at Edinburgh’s world famous Hogmanay Street Party. The night combines ceilidh dancing, a live concert in the gardens and one of the world’s greatest fireworks displays.  The Concert in the Gardens has attracted some of the world’s leading live acts including Blondie, Texas and the Scissor Sisters.
