Edinburgh International Film Festival moves to
June
In 2008 the Edinburgh International Film Festival was, for the
first time in its history, held in June rather than August, in
order to avoid the clash with the Fringe and International
Festivals. The longest continually-running film festival in the
world continues to deliver its star-studded events schedule, and
following its move to June the festival has come into its own as
the only show in town.
