University Qualifications in Edinburgh
Scotland’s undergraduate degree courses are highly valued
throughout the UK and internationally. In general, courses last one
year longer than their English counterparts, leading to an honours
degree. The extra time gives students the opportunity to study a
wider range of subject matter – and to change course and direction
if desired.
At postgraduate level, the Scottish system is like the rest of
the UK, with one-year masters programmes and MBAs. PhDs usually
take three years to complete.
The Open
University of Scotland provides high quality
university education for all. Both employers and students can meet
their learning and training needs and requirements.
