Stevenson College Edinburgh
Introduction
Stevenson College Edinburgh (SCE) is one of the largest Colleges
in Scotland providing learning opportunities at all levels –
HNC/Ds, professional qualifications and access courses, which can
secure entry to more advanced qualifications at universities
throughout the UK. SCE’s approach is very supportive and
student-centred. The current four year refurbishment programme
includes new science labs; Microsoft Virtual Server Lab – the first
of its kind in Scotland; a professional training salon for hair,
beauty and complementary therapies; Enterprise Centre with
commercial training facilities; classroom renovation to create a
better learning environment; and a brand new music and performing
arts centre, The Music Box.

Courses
Over 350 courses cover a wide
range of qualifications demanded by local employers; the range is
reviewed regularly to address labour market needs and changes in
industry. New courses include Multi-media, Beauty and Complementary
Therapies, Digital Design, Sports Coaching and Music.
The College has a striking new music and performing arts centre,
The Music Box, for musicians, actors and dancers. With
industry-standard specifications, it offers recording studios,
practice booths, a dance studio with a sprung floor, tutorial rooms
and a 120-seat auditorium.

Administration, Computing, Languages and Tourism, Social and Health
care, Childcare, Science, Sport, Engineering, Media, Music, Audio
Visual and Photography. Accredited by the British Council for the
teaching of English language, SCE’s wide range of English language
programmes are for everyone: from beginners to business
executives.
Music courses from the award-winning Creative Arts faculty
uniquely focus on the vocational skills required to gain entry to
the industry.

Edinburgh. A smaller campus at Duncan Place provides
community-based courses in English for speakers of other
languages.
