Colleges
Edinburgh City Region has five excellent colleges.
Attracting numerous young people to the area,
they play an important role in students’ lives – preparing students
either for the world of work or university. They also help prepare
overseas students for university, when English is not their first
language, with courses in how to speak and write English to a
university standard.
New developments include Telford College’s new
campus on Edinburgh’s waterfront - the first wireless
campus in Europe and Jewel and Esk Valley College’s £53.5m campus
redevelopment project.
