Love is in the Air!
Described by Scott (and appropriated by Bronte) as ‘mine own
romantic town’, the capital has so much history, tradition and
culture, it’s little wonder that those who visit fall in love with
it; Edinburgh is a city that has romance in its soul.
It’s also home to everything modern romantics need too; awash
with stylish bars, top-class eateries (including 5 Michelin-starred restaurants - the most
outside of London), beautiful walks, stunning sights and plenty
more to do besides. There are so many amazing things for lovers to
see and do in Edinburgh – the best way is to explore on foot, soak
up the surroundings and discover them for yourselves.
We've come up with a few suggestions to get you started:
- First, you'll need somewhere to stay. Why not try The George or
The Sheraton? Both offer terrific romantic breaks - let the
staff at The George spoil you both silly, or relax in style and
pamper yourselves with a spa break at The Sheraton's One Spa.
- They say the best way to a man's heart is through his stomach,
so test this theory with a special Valentine's meal at The
Rutland Hotel's award-winning restaurant.
- Stop for Afternoon Tea at the hip and trendy Eteaket - tea has never been so
cool!
- Indulge in the finer things in life with a champagne and
chocolate tasting with the Edinburgh Wine
School.
We've got more suggestions to make
the most of romantic Edinburgh, as well as
lots of Valentine's offers, including hotel packages.
