SBC agrees to establish a single licensing board
Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005
Notice is hereby given that on 18th December 2008 , Scottish Borders Council agreed to disestablish the existing East and West Divisional Licensing Boards and constitute a single Scottish Borders Licensing Board. This will come into effect on 1 April 2009.

New arrangements for licensing of registered clubs - Thursday, Jan 8 2009
The Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 will soon apply to all registered clubs in Scotland. This means all registered clubs need to check how this applies to their premises and make the necessary arrangements. -
