Edinburgh Schools - Higher Still

Typically Higher pupils will study three to five subjects. There are five levels of Higher Still courses and staff will help your child choose the level that suits their ability best:

• Access      
• Intermediate 1
• Intermediate 2
• Higher
• Advanced Higher.

The benefits of Higher Still courses include:

• a greater number of academic and vocational areas available for study
• a focus on ‘core skills’
• a system of credits, which can be built up to gain a Scottish Group Award.
