A-levels
A small number of Scottish schools offer
A-levels, the majority of which are independent schools, such as
Fettes
College, Merchiston Castle School and Edinburgh
Academy. This can mean that the transition between Scottish and
English schools becomes easier for relocating families. For further

Should you decide to study for Scottish
qualifications towards entry to an English University, Advanced
Highers are of the necessary level for the shorter three year
English degree system.
