Multi faith Edinburgh
Edinburgh is a city region in which
communities and individuals of differing faiths can live together
harmoniously. The evidence of a diverse range of faiths is found in
the variety of places of worship dotted around the city. Mosques,
Jewish Temples, and multi-denominational institutions support local
communities and provide a platform for sharing knowledge and
facilities. The councils of the city region also value and support
the diverse communities they serve.
From the recently completed Edinburgh Central
Mosque in Bristo Square, to the impressive acoustics of St Mary’s
Cathedral, Edinburgh is a celebration of tolerance and religious
diversity.
