Edinburgh's Disabled Community

Edinburgh is a safe and welcoming place which embraces the needs of disabled communities.

The various councils of Edinburgh city region offer a range of services for the disabled which aim to make life and work as independent and pleasant as possible. There are also a variety of organisations and member/support groups offering useful advice, guidance and friendship opportunities.

Edinburgh’s disability-friendly approach and concentration upon providing a range of information sources helps both disabled and able bodied visitors to get the most out of the region.
