Made in Edinburgh
Made in Edinburgh invites you to enjoy Edinburgh's finest
moments on the big screen with a showcase of the best feature
films, dramas, documentaries and animations all inspired by
Edinburgh!
Film plays an intrinsic part in Edinburgh’s history, cultural
and economic life. It is little publicised that as early as
1842 Adamson and Hill were pioneering photography techniques and an
average of 250 national and international productions film in
Edinburgh each year.
Launched in March 2009 and running until August 2009, Made in
Edinburgh presents a series of monthly screenings featuring the
breadth of work inspired by our vibrant city region.
Celebrating the moving image industry and its talent within the
Edinburgh City Region, special screenings of local productions and
work shot on location in and around Edinburgh will be shown once a
month at Filmhouse. Be proud of your city - join us for Made
