Graduates for Growth
Graduates for Growth (GfG) specialises in
sourcing graduates for small and medium-sized companies. The
initiative was part-funded by Scottish Enterprise to address a key
economic weakness - keeping graduate talent in Scotland - and has
strong alliances with the nation's universities. Lorna
Pellet, Managing Director, has commercialised the company to ensure
a ready supply of graduate talent is available for the growing
Scottish economy.
GfG has an extensive database of graduates,
including postgraduates and mature graduates, who have all
expressed a genuine desire to work in the SME sector. Many already
have substantial work experience behind them. Once placed, GfG
graduates are offered a mentor free of charge and access to
professional development training, helping them integrate into the
workplace.
