Several key projects and developments in Edinburgh will build on the city region's reputation as an international centre for science and technology. All these projects combined involve  £1bn of public investment.

  • Edinburgh BioQuarter

    Britain's most powerful supercomputer will further academic research across the UK in areas including particle physics, aeronautics, materials science and cosmology

  • The Scottish Centre for Regenerative Medicine

    A pioneering development which will combine research, commercialisation and manufacturing of regenerative medicine therapies on one site

  • The University of Edinburgh Informatics Forum

    A landmark £42m centre for informatics innovation and collaboration between leaders in cognitive science, artificial intelligence and other disciplines
