Project Edinburgh

Project Edinburgh is a joint forum of private and public sector stakeholders working together to ensure the regeneration of key locations in the city.

Their remit includes attracting inward investment and working across public and private sectors to ensure a joined-up approach to the development of successful places - the city centre, Edinburgh's Waterfront (Edinburgh North), West Edinburgh and Edinburgh Science Triangle (Edinburgh South).

Significant investment has been committed across Edinburgh city centre, with projects including the 'String of Pearls' vision to regenerate Princes Street block by block, the £850m redevelopment of the St James Quarter and the creation of a new £600m tram system.

One of Europe's most significant waterfront regeneration projects is underway to transform the industrial periphery of Edinburgh into a new urban quarter for the city.

The expansion of Edinburgh Park and Edinburgh International Airport are continuing the development of West Edinburgh into a major business hub for the city.
