Several sources of support are available to
inward investors and businesses of Edinburgh City Region.
Regional Selective Assistance
Regional Selective Assistance (RSA) is a
national grant scheme administered by the Scottish
Government. It is designed to encourage investment and
job creation, mainly in the 'assisted areas' of Scotland designated
for regional aid under European Union law. Support may
also be available to small and medium-sized enterprises in other
designated areas. Businesses of all sizes can apply for RSA,
whether they are Scottish-owned or owned or headquartered outside
Scotland
Scottish Development International
Scottish Development International (SDI)
promotes international trade and inward investment for developing
knowledge industries in Scotland and can help businesses identify
grants and financial assistance available in Scotland.
Business Associations and networks
There are a number of business associations and
networks across Edinburgh City Region and Scotland serving
businesses in all industries and at all stages of
development.
