The Strategy
The City of Edinburgh Council's Economic Strategy is provided by
the Delivering Capital Growth strategy, the Regional Economic
Development Framework and the
Economic Development Operational Plan (2009-2012). The
Council is currently working towards an ambitious Economic Strategy
for 2012-2017 which will be the basis of a new Economic
Development Operational Plan (2012-2015).
Edinburgh City Region Economic Review
The theme papers for the
economic review are now available online
and it will guide a new Economic Strategy for the city.
The Review reports on trends in skills, productivity, enterprise
and economic performance. It will also include economic
forecasts, based on alternative "futures" for the city.
To help produce the best quality report possible we are consulting
businesses and the general public.
