Planning and building standards
The City of Edinburgh Council offers an online
Planning and Building Standards Portal, which
allows users to submit, view and track the progress of current
planning and building warrant applications over the internet.
Other features include advice and guidance on
planning and building standards and a statutory notice search
service. Users can also access the Council's property enquiry
service, including area search, which supports conveyancing in the
city.
New features will include interactive maps
allowing users to check whether planning permission is required for
developments on their own property.
