Heriot-Watt Research Park
Heriot-Watt Research Park, established 1971,
was the first of its kind in Europe. The emphasis is on
research, development, design, engineering, training and
prototyping activities leading to manufacture.
The Research Park provides companies with an
opportunity to establish their own research and development groups
within the campus, enabling them to make maximum use of the
services and facilities offered, while retaining full control over
the security and confidentiality of their operations.
Network
Co-located on the same campus and run by
Heriot-Watt University, The Research Park is ideal for working with
university staff and facilities.
The objective is to provide the best possible
location for established and new companies of which there are
currently more than 40 on site, including a number of
internationally renowned companies, either spinning out from the
university, or established on the research park itself.
