Knowledge Festival
New festival featuring in Edinburgh's Festival
Fringe
The Edinburgh Conference Centre at Heriot-Watt University is
breaking new ground this year by launching a small Knowledge
Festival, to be part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
The Knowledge Festival will consist of three
talks by select speakers on a range of topics and their
relationship to knowledge. It is expected that this type of
event will be a popular addition to the Edinburgh Fringe circuit
and Heriot-Watt hope to introduce knowledge in a less academic,
informal and topical way.
Two of the three speakers have been
secured for the Festival which will run from 18 to 20
August.
