There is a culture of collaboration in Scotland which is central to our future. 

Although each centre of research and development may be working alone or in collaboration, they all confirm Edinburgh’s place at the forefront of scientific discovery.

Research and development at the various institutes and research centres in and around Edinburgh continues to expand. The universities promote multi-disciplinary working along with embedded commercialisation in the research process.

Encouraging existing collaborative groups to share best practice and learning experiences is essential and there exists a strong knowledge exchange community and networks.
