Taste of Edinburgh - Now With New Improved Flavour, Saturday April 03 2010
Good news for all you food fans as it was confirmed this week
that the Taste of
Edinburgh Festival will return this year from 28-30 May, and
it’ll be bigger and better than ever.
Culinary Queen Rachel Allen is just
one the top celebrity chefs lined up to make live appearances in
May, and there’s the chance to be much more hands-on too, with even
more interactive demonstrations and workshops, perfect for those of us
who need a little help in the kitchen.
Visitors will be able to get up close and personal with some of
these big names at the new Grill a
Chef sessions, which will also see chefs from some of the
city’s award-winning restaurants, including the likes of Tony’s Table, The
Rutland and Malmaison, take part.
Tea, cheese, chocolate, meats, fruits, vegetables, dips – you
name it, you’ll be able to get your grubby mitts on some prime
specialty tucker from local and national food producers. Just make
sure you don’t ask anyone for a deep
fried mars bar.
