Do you swoon when you see the latest copy of Design Week? Can’t
walk past places like the Apple store without licking the
window?
Well then, you’ll probably be interested to know that on
Tuesday, online creative industries mag Creative Boom
Edinburgh will be hosting their latest ‘social boom’, to
celebrate the magazine’s first birthday.
So if you’re looking to hook up with other like-minded creative
types for some free and informal networking, then the rather lovely
Roxy Art House is the
place to be at 6.30pm.
You don’t just have to go along an mingle though – organisers
are looking for a
variety of contributions in the run-up to make everything go
swimmingly.
As part of the preparations, they’ll be hosting a creative mess
up on Sunday from 2-6pm at Sofi’s, but if you can’t manage that,
you can still submit your artwork for display at the social boom,
or even make suggestions for what music is played at the event by
hitting them up on twitter.
